Essential Studio offers focused one-to-one massage therapy for people with demanding lives.
Each session is tailored to you on the day, but always centred on real hands-on treatment rather than a fixed routine. The aim is simple: reduce tension, restore movement, support recovery, and leave you clearer than when you arrived, with more capacity for whatever comes next.
This studio was built for people carrying sustained physical and mental demands. The work is straightforward, tailored and designed to be genuinely useful, without guesswork or unnecessary extras.
How sessions are approached
All new clients begin with a First Session. This includes consultation and assessment time to understand your body, clarify your priorities and decide which of the four core approaches best suits you on the day.
These four approaches help shape the structure, pace and focus of the session. The work remains tailored in real time to how your body presents on the day.
Deep Rest
UnwindFor stress, poor sleep and nervous system fatigue.
Slow, steady work to calm the nervous system and help you settle, breathe and recover.
Release Tension
Problem areasFor a clear area of tension such as the neck, shoulders, back or hips.
Focused work on stubborn tension that keeps grabbing your attention.
Move with Ease
StiffnessFor general stiffness, heaviness or restricted movement.
A broader approach to restore range, reduce resistance and help your body move more freely.
Prepare
ReadinessFor training, demanding work, travel or other high-load periods.
More energising than relaxing. Designed to warm the body and sharpen the mind so you feel organised and ready.
People often move between these across the year depending on what they need most at the time. The session has a clear focus, but the work remains tailored rather than following a fixed routine.
How sessions are structured and priced
All new clients begin with a First Session. Returning clients can then choose the format that best fits the work needed on the day.
First Session
For all new clients. Includes consultation, assessment and full treatment.
1 hour 30 minutes • £120
Focused
For a clear target area or focused follow-up work.
60 minutes • £105
Standard
The usual follow-up session length. Enough time to settle in, work with intent and bring the session to a natural close.
75 minutes • £120
Extended
For complex patterns, multiple areas, or work that needs more space to unfold fully.
1 hour 45 minutes • £175
Who it is for
Essential Studio is for people who want to feel better in their body and more settled in themselves. That might mean deep rest, relief from accumulated tension, support with recovery, or simply leaving with more ease and more capacity than when you arrived.
It is especially well suited to people carrying a lot, physically or mentally: demanding work, hard training, family responsibilities, poor sleep, long periods of stress, or some combination of all of them. If you have found other treatments too generic, too passive or not quite precise enough, this work may suit you better.
About Essential Studio

Arnaud BloisFounder and lead practitioner
I have spent much of my adult life balancing demanding work, serious training and family life. I have worked in fast-moving leadership roles in the London tech world, trained in gymnastics and capoeira, and dealt with the tension, knocks and recovery that come with pushing the body hard. As a father of two young children, I also know what it is to keep going when sleep is short and the days are full.
Living that way led me to a simple question: how do you stay clear, resilient and capable when life puts your body and mind under constant load?
That question is what brought me to massage therapy. I studied anatomy, physiology and soft-tissue work in depth, gained my ITEC Level 3 in Massage Therapy, and continued my training in Deep Tissue and Myofascial Release. Over time, I developed an approach that draws on Swedish massage, deeper structural work and myofascial techniques, shaped by years of training, recovery and life under pressure. I'm also an FHT member and fully insured.
What matters to me is not pampering, but work that genuinely helps. Each session is adapted to what you bring on the day, whether that is physical tension, mental overload, accumulated fatigue or the after-effects of training. The aim is simple: to help you leave calmer, freer and better able to meet the demands of your life.
